Date in flower 2002  June 2nd

This clematis is acting very strange with us. When we first brought it about three years ago its first flowers were double, and the second flush single (as is normal). The last two years it has flowered as the picture shows. Anyway a large striking flower. Suffered from clematis wilt the last two years, but healthy so far this year.
